Hemp seed and hemp seed oil are rich in Omega fatty acids, having the perfect ratio for optimal human health. The Omega 3 fatty acid is one of the nutrients that has the anti-inflammatory effects.
Asthma is a chronic inflammation disorder that affects the airways and results in difficulty with breathing. If one is overly sensitive to allergens and triggers this will result in the chronic inflammation. Continual exposure to those triggers will keep the airways hypersensitive and will also result in ongoing breathing issues.
Asthma has become increasingly prevalent in industrial countries, often due to pollution and chemicals released into the air. It is one of the most chronic diseases in the United States.
Treatment includes long-term inhalation of corticosteroids, although proper nutrition is now playing a large part in treating asthma.
Sufficient daily intake of Omega fatty acids may reduce the symptoms of asthma; more patients are leaning toward natural therapies to combat this chronic condition. This is where hemp comes in. Consuming hemp hearts, hemp oil, and hemp-based foods are an excellent avenue for receiving the needed Omega fatty acids.
